If you’ve ever said any of these things…

“I’m just not good at selling.
“I hate the sales part.”
“I’m just not a salesperson.”

... then pull up a chair and sit next to me. I've been there.

You’re running your own business, and you’re confident about the work you do.

But when it comes to selling, it just feels… different. Uncomfortable. A little salesy.

Sure, you can do it. But you’re just not sure you’re doing it right. And who could blame you? You’ve never been in sales.

But maybe you’ve lost a few clients who you swore would come through. And you hate that feeling of not knowing if a new client will say yes or no.

You know you should be better at signing new clients. But it’s not just about clients, is it?

It’s about more than just selling. It’s about your life.

It’s about not being worried about money all the time.

It’s about being able to provide for yourself and your family.

It’s about having the freedom to spend time with friends and family, and not have to constantly be worried about work.

And it’s about you.

It’s about not being stressed all the time. It’s about knowing you CAN run a successful business. And it’s about knowing you won’t have to go back to an office job.

For someone as confident as you are about your work, it seems crazy to have this gaping hole in your skill set, where confidence is replaced with doubt.

I know because that was me too, when I started my first consulting business.

My Story: From dreading every sales conversation... to a 92% win rate and nearly $1MM in consulting work

When I first started out, I didn’t know anything about how to sell, even though I had been in marketing for my entire career. Selling to new clients felt really uncomfortable. I was super shy, and I dreaded every sales conversation.

But as soon as I started my first business I quickly found out that businesses, especially consulting businesses like mine, live or die on their ability to bring on new clients.

And that’s when I got scared.

If I couldn’t figure out how to sell to new clients, I was going to have to do what every business owner fears the most: go back and get an office job.

And actually, a few months into my first consulting business, I got so scared that I actually did go back and get an office job. And you know what? I hated it.

I looked around and saw all the inefficiency, the office politics... and I hated my commute.

But I really just missed the freedom to go running in the middle of the day, or go to the grocery store when it’s not packed.

So after 6 months of that job, I left. I recommitted to the business and, most importantly, towards teaching myself how to sell.

Learning through hustle & running my businesses

Over the next few years I taught myself everything I possibly could. I read everything I could get my hands on about selling, and I tried nearly every sales strategy and approach.

And through that process I developed a selling style that works, for three reasons:

First, it’s not salesy. There’s nothing tricky or deceitful. It’s straightforward and honest.

Second, it’s based on building the relationship, and based on the tremendous value I bring my clients.

Third, it doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable or awkward. In fact, it feels natural, and I love it because I get to be myself.

But most importantly, it works.

It’s how I sold nearly $400,000 in web design services for my marketing consulting firm.

It’s how I sold nearly $200,000 in sponsorships for a first-time conference that no one had ever heard of, for an organization I co-founded less than a year before.

It’s how I’ve sold $300,000 (and counting) in coaching and consulting services, with a 92% win rate.

It’s how I set a goal of new coaching clients I wanted this year, and I reached 40% of my annual goal in the first month.

And it’s how I've helped my clients double their sales.

Here’s the thing...

I’m not a trained salesperson. I've never been in sales.

I’m a business owner who learned how to consistently sign new clients, not from being a commissioned salesperson. But through the hustle of running my business.

I want to teach you how to do it, too.

I want you to KNOW that no matter the situation, you CAN sign any potential client that comes your way.

I want you to be as CONFIDENT about signing new clients, as you are in the work of your business.

Everything I’ve learned about selling through running my businesses, goes into everything I want to share with you.

That’s why I created SIGNED.

From the first lesson, this program completely blew my mind. I originally signed up because I wanted to be more confident around selling to potential clients. But I ended up totally re-tooling my services and packages, and now I’m positioned to earn even more than I could when I started. The program isn’t just about how to sell - it’s about how to really grow your business.

The lessons and exercises were great, but what really made the program special was being able to meet with Leah one-on-one when I got stuck. Being able to talk through my questions helped me get past what was holding me back, and now I’m so excited to move ahead with building my business.

I can’t say enough how grateful I am for this course! The lessons were fantastic and the way the class flowed really took you step by step through the process.

But I think the best part about the course was that it took each step from theory to practice. Every single one of the classes had something tangible that I could use to get started quickly. For someone like me who has a hard time moving from the thinking to the starting, the course made that so much easier. It got me into action much faster than I would have otherwise.
